Typical Boats at Palhota

Traditional fishing boats resting on a lazy afternoon at the village of Palhota. Palhota is a very small fishing village inhabited by 8 persons, located on the outskirts of Tagus River Estuary, and is part of the called “Rota Avieira”, famous for its traditional fishing boats, but also because of the birds that either live in the place or come in the Spring to nidificate.
